I have been following the Tormach story since they came out with their PCNC 1100 mill. Initially I though the mill is too big into my garage. But the good feedback on the forums helped to make up my mind. It is a robust well designed mill.
It was quite a challenge to lift up the mill to the base. I needed a pallet jack to move the base around and an engine hoist (set to 1 ton) to lift the mill. I only could do this inside the garage because the mill mounted on the base was higher than my garage door.
